                                                                          Meditation For Relaxation


This meditation is for all those who seek a way of relaxing the body, mind and spirit.

There is no experience necessary and beginners are very welcome.

Every session will start with a little talk or introduction about a subject around meditation, mindfulness, stress, focus as well as general well-being. After that we will enter into a guided meditation in which we will learn to let go and relax.

There are 6 Sessions taking place on the following Thursdays: 27. June, 4. July, 11. July, (no session on 18. July), 25. July, 1. August.


There are many different forms of meditation but put simply, meditation is a quieting of the mind. It doesn't have to be a complicated process. Often people find it difficult to meditate alone at first. At The Well Being Centre we have a variety of classes for different types of meditation.

Buddhist Meditation

‘How to Meditate’

These drop in classes are taught by a qualified Kadampa Teacher. Each class consists of two guided meditations, a talk and discussion, learn practical techniques to increase energy and enthusiasm in daily life. Everyone is welcome and can join at any time.

Wednesdays 7.30pm - 9pm Term Time

Cost: £5 per class – 4 prepaid classes for £15
