Jewellery Making

In these 90 minute taster sessions to jewellery making you will learn basic beading techniques to create a unique, beautiful necklace. You will have the choice of a large variety of colurs and materials of beads such as crystals, semi precious stones, glass beads and pearls. All materials,tools and refreshments will be provided and you will have a bespoke piece of jewellery to take home.

Dates  Saturday 25th February from 10-11.30 and also Wednesday 21st March from 7-8.30pm

Jewellery Making with Kiln Formed Glass

An introduction into kiln formed glass Jewellery with Artist Diane Welford on Saturdays April 21st & April 28th from 10am-12pm

An introduction into kiln formed glass is a two week taster course in which you will aquire the basic skills neccessary to work with glass. These skills will enable you to design and create your very own piece of stunning glass jewellery as treat for yourself or as a wonderful gift for someone special. All tools, materials and refreshments will be provided.

About Diane

Diane Welfords fine art practice has become quite diverse in recent years, since gaining her masters degree in fine art eight years ago she has exhibited widely, worked on public commisions and has found herself nominated for the prestigeous Northern Art Prize. For some fifteen years her exhibitions have highlighted her ongoing investigation into consciousness and precognition. Glass has become an extension of her fine art practice and her recent solo exhibition "Atmospheric Light" at the Inspired Gallery in Danby showcased works in glass that were inspired by light and colour present within the atmosphere

Card making

Gill O'Donnell Qualified Teacher/Dorcrafts Demonstrator/Designer will be here  on Tuesday Mornings from 17th April at 10.30am-12.30pm to facilitate Card Making classes. £6 per session.
